1.1 Add lubricating oil

Unscrew the oil plug, add the correct type of lubricating oil to a position slightly above the center line of the oil dipstick or oil glass, and then install the plug;
The reducer (motor) that has been refueled does not need to be refueled.

1.2 Start

The following items must be checked and recorded before starting:
(1) Oil level height
(2) Lubricating oil cooling or oil supply system pipeline tightness
(3) Effectiveness of shaft seal
(4) Rotating parts are not in contact with other parts

1.3 run

When the reducer (motor) is started for the first time, if possible, it should be allowed to run without load for several hours. If there is no abnormality, it can be loaded gradually, and the load should be filled up at an appropriate time;
In operation, the reducer must be monitored:
Oil temperature (During continuous operation, the design temperature of the reducer is: the temperature of mineral oil used in continuous operation is 90 ℃. At higher temperatures, synthetic oil must be used. The maximum temperature of short-term work can reach 100 ℃);
Changes in operating noise;
Possible oil leakage at the box body and shaft seal;
The correct oil level;

1.4 Maintenance

Any failures that need to be repaired during the warranty period must be carried out by the customer service department.For failures that occur after the warranty period and whose cause cannot be determined, we recommend that customers contact our customer service department;

Inspection and maintenance cycle:

Check the tightness of the fastening bolts After the first oil change, every other oil change thereafter
Comprehensive inspection of the reducer Approximately every 2 years at the same time as the oil change

Possible failures:

On gear units equipped with a lubricating oil cooling system: the coolant flow rate is too low or too high Fully adjust the valves of the inlet and outlet pipes and check the free flow of the water cooling device
Coolant temperature is too high Check temperature and adjust as needed
The oil flow through the water cooling device is too low, the reason is: the oil filter is seriously blocked Clean the oil filter
Mechanical failure of the oil pump Contact customer service department, check whether the function of the oil pump is normal, repair or change the oil pump
On a reducer equipped with a fan: the air inlet of the fan cover and/or the cabinet is heavily contaminated Clean the fan cover and cabinet
Reducer equipped with cooling spiral tube: scaling inside the cooling spiral tube Contact customer service department, clean or replace the spiral tube
The temperature at the bearing is too high The oil level in the reducer case is too high or too low Check the height of the oil level at room temperature and add oil as needed
Oil is too old Contact customer service department to check the time of the last oil change
Mechanical failure of the oil pump Contact the customer service department to check whether the oil pump is working properly, repair or replace the oil pump
Bearing damage Contact the customer service department, check the data obtained by the operator in the vibration measurement, check and replace the bearing as needed

The temperature of the non-return device is too high and the non-return function is invalid Damaged non-return device Contact the customer service department, check and replace the stop adding device as needed
Reducer oil leakage Poor sealing of box cover or connection Check the seal and connection, if necessary, replace with a new one to seal the connection
Radial shaft seal failure Contact the room service department and replace the radial seal ring with a new one
Water in oil Debris in the oil Use a test tube to check the state of the oil if there is moisture in the laboratory to analyze the oil.
Failure of lubricating oil cooler or cooling coil Contact the customer service department, find and repair the leak, replace the cooler or spiral tube
The reducer is condensed by the cool air ventilated from the machine room Use suitable insulation materials to protect the reducer, close the air outlet or change its direction in the structure
Pressure monitoring device alarm (reducer equipped with pressure lubrication, lubricating oil and water cooling device and air cooling device) Oil pressure<0.5bars Check the oil level at room temperature, add oil as needed, check the oil filter, replace as needed, contact the customer service department, check whether the oil pump is functioning normally, repair or replace the oil pump
The indicator of the double-switching filter gives an alarm Double-switching filter clogged Follow the instructions to switch the switching filter, remove the clogged filter element and clean it

The motor contactor does not work, a fault in the control system Check the control of the motor contactor and troubleshoot if necessary
The motor does not start or it is difficult to start The motor should be delta connection, but it is star connection Correct the wiring method
The voltage or frequency deviates significantly from the rated value at least when starting Try to improve the power supply; check the cross section of the power cord
Wrong direction of rotation Motor wiring error Swap two phase wires
