1.A connecting link of an O-ring Chain for basic application is pre-coated with grease on the pins. Before connection, 
verify the grease to the surfaces of pins, and if the volume of grease is modest, apply grease with bare hands. (If gloves are made use of, the grease will likely be absorbed from the gloves.)
Illustration: When the connecting link (I) of an O-ring chain for standard application is
shipped, O-rings are fitted at the roots with the pins. When the O-rings come loose on account of vibration during transport, refit the O-rings in on the roots with the pins.
In this instance, be sure to return the grease collected on the roots from the pins to your central surfaces of the pins, much more at portion A than at portions B shown inside the over illustration. (Portions A is worn as a consequence of sliding with the bushings.)
2.The chain may be most quickly linked around the teeth of a sprocket. Engage the back links at both ends in the chain with all the sprocket teeth and fit connecting pins. Should the sprocket is usually moved, the chain may also be linked over the loosened side.
three. Connecting method
one.Confirm that O-rings are connected on the roots of the pins.
two.Should the level of grease applied to the connecting pins is tiny, coat the pins with grease in the central portions.
three.Insert the connecting pins to the bushings of the inner back links at the two ends.
4.Confirm the grease is utilized on the complete face in the O-ring, and match the O-ring onto the connecting pins.
5.Insert the connecting pins in to the connecting plate and while pressing the connecting plate, set up the spring clip. Verify whether the head (the finish with no split) with the spring clip is turned in the feeding direction in the chain. (See the following illustration.)
6.Be sure you confirm the spring clip is securely fitted during the clip grooves of your connecting pins.
This completes jointing in the connecting hyperlink. Note that grease about the surfaces of connecting pins and O-rings can be eliminated throughout set up function. In this case, re-grease working with the grease over the surface on the base chain or the grease within the polyethylene bag in which the connecting link was contained.
